Case in point ...I have a John Deere 4400 and I know it was assembled in Augusta Georgia. The 4010 series were assembled in Augusta Georgia. They both have the Yamnar engine.
I was specifically told the John Deere 4020 series are American made they have an American made John Deere Powertech engine in them and supposedly an American made drive train.
Is everything on these JD 4020 series truly and totally made in the US or are they really just assembled here with more American made components than the previous successors ?
I would think the JD Power tech engines have some foreign components in them and they would truly be an engine assembled in America not made in America.
To me even the cars made in Detroit are more or less actually assembled rather than made in America because of some of the foreign parts that are imported and used in the production of these cars.
This day an age how can any vehicles or tractors be completely 100 % made in America ??
I think they are basically assembled in America some with just more American made parts than others .
Whats your opinion ???
