Is there a Front Window Guard or are there any other Special Applications Kits designed or suitable for Toolcats?
On page IX ot the Jan. 2005 5600 B-Series Operation & Maintenance Manual, a list of Options and Field Installed Accessories includes "Rear PTO, Rear Auxillary Hydraulics, Remote Hydraulics, Rear Window Guard, and Special Applications Kit (FRONT WINDOW GUARD)." And in the online Spring 2004 Worksaver, there is an article,
Tailor Your Toolcat 5600 To Match The Job, which lists "several new dealer-installed accessories to customize the Toolcat 5600 to fit your own specific needs," including bedliner, rear work lights, "Front and rear window guards" and more.
I bought the Rear Window Guard, but haven't been able to find out info on the Front Window Guard or any Special Applications Kits including a Front Window Guard. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Is it made of lexan or metal? Will one be coming out, or did Bobcat decide not to offer it after advertising it? And where and how would it attach to the Toolcat: front cab frame, lift arm, fenders or __?
Would it be for special applications using certain attachments like stump grinders, chippers, tree shears & brush saws, where there is potential danger for flying objects or falling debris coming onto and perhaps breaking the front windshield?
