I am trying to justify buying a rotary mower for my skid steer. I was contemplating building one but I dont have the time to mess with it.
Looked today a an ATI? at my dealer, they have a whole line of products from them. They are built right after the brushmonster with the v cut out of the front. I can get into a 72 in for 3800.00 I am having a touch of trouble talking myself into it just because being used for my personal use means it aint paying for it's self per say.
So I got to thinking that if I got a job here and there clearing brush it would be worth the investment. We had to change our inshurance back to commercial because we started using the loader in the business again so there is no added expense there again. So I was wondeing if there would be any money in it. Obviously mulching is the way to go, but to my knowledge there are really none around here other than the highline companys and they are out of another state.
I figure toss an add in the paper and see if any bites, be ready to spend the dough,,, Hate doing that though till I buy it,,, I may not be worth a crap at it.
Figure we would do it like we used to bid excavating until I got good with it by the job. Doesnt make alot of money usually but it dosent screw folks over on a per hour rate with a guy who isint efficent at what he is doing.
