Any Mitsubish owners here??

Just bought a Mitsubishi MTX28D MAC in very good condition 1400 hrs...........But I need an owners manual, this one came used from Japan and came without a handbook. I need to know things like how do I tell if it has enough Hydraulic oil....no dipstick visible.....what OIL ?? My other tractor Yanmar F22D uses ATF. THis Mitsubishi is only 5 HP more than my Yanmar but seems to be in another league, they Yanmar Punched well above it's weight.

As a former Mitsubishi owner I'm not sure how much help I can be. I had a D2350 and got my manual from Valley Power. If you had the original manual it would probably be in Japanese. The people at Valley Tractor can provide manuals for some models in English. On my tractor the standard transmission shared the same oil bath as the hydraulic system. A combination tractor oil was best for that system. If you have a hydrostatic transmission you could use a different fluid. The fill was on top of the transmission. You could pull a rubber plug on the side to check the level. If you plug mitsubishi mtx28d into your search engine you will get more information.

Thanks, roadworthy, very fast reply.....I will write to Valley Power. I suspect my MTX28D is/was called something else in USA (I,m an Englishman living in Eastern Poland) But looking at the Valley Power site they will be able to match me up with a manual that will be close enough. I will look for that rubber Bung, I notice there is a big Rubber bung on the front-drive axle casing. So maybe I am looking for something similar. So maybe I need to look again, the main transmission case has a plastic screw-in filler plug on top of the transmission, right at the back above the 3 point linkage.
