This kind of thing was never my thing.

I’ve cleared a piece of land enough to have the sized perimeter that I’ve shown.
At what intervals around this known perimeters ( length and width ) would I need to place spigots so that a 100 ft hose will reach everywhere inside and not have any dead spots that cannot be reached?

I’d rather have a little wiggle room versus stretching things to their limit.

I don’t want to have to remove any more trees ( in the center) than I’ve already done and although tree’s will change the reach of the hose we can manage that on an individual basis as it occurs.

I’ll have a spigot for sure at all 4 corners

You could get by with two spigots and reach the entire area. You wouldn't have any extra hose left over but it'll reach everywhere you are wanting to.

Maybe I didn’t explain it well enough?

I’m probably wrong but Im thinking every 50 ft would give me a 100 percent overlap on a 180 degree semi circle.

Do you want them to overlap or just reach each other? I think you would want them to overlap by 20 feet or so. Hoses curve, and this makes them shorter for practical purposes.

It appears the placement of the spigots are midway (i.e., 90 ft) east to west and 90 ft from the north and south ends. If so, they 100 ft hose will not reach the corners. It would be about 27 ft short.

I want no area within the rectangle to not be covered by hose so yes overlapped as you mentioned

Draw the rectangle to scale and then lay a circle representing a 200 ft circle.

I'm getting 6 spigots total. One from each end of the rectangle, 36 ft-8 inches. 4 more spaced in between 83 ft- 4 inches

Draw the rectangle to scale and then lay a circle representing a 200 ft circle.

Like said above. Draw rectangle to scale get a compass and set it to 100 ft to give a 200 foot diameter circle and start drawing circles.
