Any idea what these are?

I inherited a bunch of tools and boxes of screws and bolts. Finally going through and ran across this stuff. I am thinking it may be some sort of rivet. The first is aluminum and the second appears to be brass, but I am probably wrong.....

Probably brass rivets, too.

Rivets. If you find some washers of the same material they go with the rivet.

Looks like some of the rivets I have. Came from North American Rockwell's Surplus outlet store. They had a plant on the East side of Columbus, Oh., and built military aircraft. One of those places dreams are made of, for tools, machine tooling, etc., etc. Sure miss that place...

This would make sense. He was a machinist at a paper mill in Seattle and used to tell stories about the Boeing surplus outlet.

The brass ones look almost like the hinge pins in my wood stove.
