Any crossover starters for the Hinomoto E14 other than stock?

Weavers is 210, Southern Global is 285 for a new starter for my E14. Getting old one rebuilt isnt an option. No local shops do that and the armature windings are a total wreck. Does anything cross referance to this starter that is cheaper? I know that can be done with some Yanmar tractors.

Your local shops may be unable to rebuild your starter but may be able to locate a new after market one at a reasonable price.

Massey Ferguson 205 or 205-4 had the s107 engine which I believe shared a block with your s88.
Also maybe try Allis Chalmers 5015 which had the s100

With Amazon's no-hassle return policy it would be simple to order a starter that looks about right, with similar amps and same gear teeth, just to see if it fits.
