Grew up with boats all my life. Love the water and everything associates with it, for the most part. Ocean and freshwater are equally enjoyable for me.
I've had a few boats I used in the ocean, as well as my parents boats over the years. Now I've downsized to a 22' pontoon boat and enjoy it with the family.
My dream is to eventually end up with a 40-50' trawler and cruise the Great Loop, in addition to the Caribbean. That will probably have to wait till retirement though!
I loved boats so much while growing up, I decided to make a living out of it. Now I make my living driving ships. It didn't take me long to realize that there is a BIG difference between driving boats, and driving ships, from an "enjoyment" perspective. I don't mind my job, but can't wait to get home to go boating
My dream retirement job would be to run the Mount Washington on Lake Winnipesaukee in NH and live on my property there.
Yes. Grew up around boats thanks to my parents. Finally bought my own 18' with 150 HP. Kids love tubing, hopefully can get them into wakeboarding and other water sports.
Yup, been around lakes growing up in MA and now have owned two boats in NH. Oceans? Not so much, seeing Jaws at the age of 13 didn't help. :hissyfit::shark:
