Has any one had any experience with this tractor or familiar with them? You can check them out on this link. www.antoniocarrara.com
Thanks for any input.

They build the JD 5000 series, which are of a disastrous quality. That's why JD set up the 5020 series based on the 6020, as a better alternative, even though the 5010 series had a lot of improvements over the initial 5000 series.
My uncle once had one to replace his Fordson Dexta, but he said it was a piece of sh*t and parts were hard to get for a 20 year old model.

Renze, I am not completely sure, but I think the 5000 series in Europe might have been made by Carraro, but the 5000 series for the US had a transmission/differential made by a company in Japan, I forget the name but it's owned by Yanmar.

Massey Ferguson 5609, Kubota GS1800, eXmark LazerZ XP
There is a vineyard down in Georgia that uses the tractors and seems fairly happy with them. They use Perkins motors, so parts for the motor should be readily available. For other parts, they claim to be able to get them to you in 24 to 48 hours.
The tractors are kind of unique in the US. They offer a lot of features you will not find on your typical, available in America tractors.
Many folks in Europe use and love these tractors.
We seriously considered a Carraro tractor, but the high price kept us away. We couldn't justify the cost for all the very cool features we really didn't need.
If you need a lot of horsepower in a compact package with excellent stability and are willing to pay top dollar, then the Carraro might be your perfect tractor.

European JD 5x10 and 5x15 are built by Agritalia (Carraro) in Rovigo. Same company make Renault/Claas vineyard orchad tractors, as well as Valtra 3000 series. So, I will not call it crap just because it is Italian made.
Just to remind you, Zetor has Carraro front axle, totaly equal to JD 5x1x seies.
Antonio Carraro is class of it's own - What name JD means in US for ag tractors, Antonio Carraro means in special orchad/vineyard tractors.
Any brand is only as good as the service given when severe issues need resolution.
