Antique John Deere Front Blade

Last week my buddy and I went to the local tractor salvage yard hunting for some parts to fix certain issues with a couple of our JD tractors, his A and my 3010. While there we came across an old A that had a genuine John Deere front blade on it. It raised with cables ran back to the lift arms on the back and it was able to be angled right or left or left square with the tractor. It also was a "Quick Release" style that could be dropped in just a few minutes!

My question is, does anyone know anything about these blades?

A buddy of mine said that those are rare pieces. If you have an oppurtunity to by it then do it. Sorry about the spelling.
