Another successful firewood mission

A picture of the Kioti returning from collecting a little firewood. Cleaning up some dead Oak and Beech off the woodlot. The trailer was rescued from my neighbor who was intent on crushing it with his tractor and burying it. Replaced the dry-rotted recaps with a couple recycled tires harvested from a dump pile on State Land. What's not to like 'bout a free trailer?? And to take a little junk out of the wildlands to boot.

Nice score on the trailer - I'd take that!

About 10 years I was using an old trailer of my dads when I lost a license plate - had to fill out a police report to get a replacement and the cop pointed out to me that the trailer was made in 1948 (per the registration) - and still going strong. My dad sold it a few years later and it is probably still going strong. Those old trailers were really made well.

Nice save on the trailer... but I have to say... a wheelbarrow on forks! Egadds, man, why didn't you buy a bucket for that FEL????

You're telling me your detachable bucket doesn't have a wheel? The wheel makes it more manuverable, but where do I install the toothbar??

Some of my terrain is un-tractorable, but can get close enough that an intermediate wood portage device is the ticket.
