Mahindra 3525
I have a 2006 Mahindra 3525 that is leaking fluid from the steering cylinder. The seal on the side with the rod is bad but what I need to know is if the large cap on the rod side is reverse thread.

I have the steering cylinder removed from the tractor but with each attempt I can only managed to loosen the opposite side. The rod side was really tight when I tried in reverse so I want to know exactly which way I need to turn it.

Thanks

It is right hand threads, be sure to loosen set screw that locks hat nut. There is also seals in that opposite end that will need replacing too.

Thank you for the response.

I now have both ends off, and thanks for the info on the additional seals.
