Seen one few years ago by a member on here don't recall who, anyway the guy seem to be fair

What would the JD have done if the pressure was bumped up? That’s not really even fair to introduce that factor. Also JD has its own quick attach system. They added an adapter to be skid steer quick attach. That kicks the forks out further plus the weight of the adapter. That hurt the lift of the JD. I realize he did this to be “fair”. You could also see the difference in bucket size when they were nose to nose.

The guy added extra rear weights because he is lighter than his buddy? No mention that the Kubota has a cab on it and that would easily make up the difference.

He obviously favors Kubota I felt by some of his remarks. Nothing wrong with that, the BX is a good tractor. Tractor Time with Tim’s comparison is a lot more comprehensive. I feel I can compare them a little better than some having owned a BX for 10 years and I currently own a JD 2025r. I bought my BX about 12 years ago and Kubota hasn’t been standing still, they have improved it.

I don't understand adjusting the hydraulic power. Most owners can't do that or don't bother. So differences in hydraulic power seem basic to the nature of the tractor as sold. Modifications can be done in any area, but stock tractors are what should be compared.
