I have a BX23 with about 300 hours. While operating the tractor - loader work - the BH's main boom leaks down about 1/2" per hour. Last night I tested the leakdown rate while stored and the drop was insignificant overnight. I don't have a problem with leaving the pin in the BH and I always lower the BH and loader when not in use. I've searched/read posts about normal leak down and how it can be expected with compact tractors. The 2-year portion of the warranty is just about up and I have never had the need to bring the machine back to the dealer as I do all the routine maintenance myself. Aside from the self inflicted broken hose etc, the only other problem with the tractor is the sticking lever/pin when removing the BH. None of these problems seem significant enough to have the dealer come for it and I would prefer not to loose any seat.

Would you have the dealer come and take a look or would you just accept these things as minor annoyances.

A 1/2" per hour for boom droop is normal to good. You should always pin or chain the boom when not digging. It's a good habit to form.

While forming the habit, don't forget to un-pin or un-chain!

That is well with in acceptable level. Your ½” per hour is very low compared to many. JD is the only one that has the levels listed on the net as far as I know. Their acceptable levels are really out there.
