Glad the problem is fixed. One thing that others may miss is that any unused outlets in splitters or amplifiers should have terminators in them to keep the cabling balanced and not introduce any stray signals. You also want to stay as far away in your cabling as possible from florescent fixtures. Try not to run cables near AC wires, if you have to cross the AC wires try to cross them at right angles.
