I agree about the attractive and well preserved body.....but I hope that when my thoroughly ugly and used up body is just about to quit I can look back and know that I've used it up achieving a higher purpose than self gratification, liver failure and emphysema.

Well, I was just trying to be funny, but your point is well taken. I've been ugly long enough and I'm starting to get old enough that worrying about looking pretty and living forever seem like a waste of time!

When I see that, I usually think, why do people reflect at the end of their lives and not during it?

I reflect and try and enjoy each day, heck each hour and minute sometimes.
