I have noticed a lot of you posting about the enjoyment you've gained from owning one of our tractors, so in turn I thought I would just like to start the day by giving a brief history of TYM and what we've accomplished as a company thus far. Also, more importantly, what we plan on accomplishing in the near future!
First, the name TYM, which is an abbreviation for "Tong Yang Moolsan" can be roughly translated to "Far East Agricultural Company". It's pronounced T Y M, not time or tim. I always get a chuckle when I hear our tractors referred to as "those time machines" or "Tim tractors". Although you might feel as though you are traveling into the future when behind the wheel. :laughing:
The Agricultural Machinery division of TYM was founded in 1973 under the name of "Angyang Farm Machinery Factory" where we began producing the first TYM tractors! It was not until 1993 that TYM established its own Research & Development Institute alongside our Agricultural Machinery Training Institute. Through the hard work and knowledge of our development team, TYM has obtained various certifications in order to keep up with the ever changing quality demands of the farm machinery industry. We are extremely proud of the quality of our tractors!
As most of you may know, our tractors are manufactured in South Korea at our corporate development institute then assembled here in Wilson, North Carolina. We ensure that all of our tractors are properly assembled and tested for quality assurance before leaving our North Carolina facility. We also take pride in our dealers that are striving to provide the best after-sale service to each of our present and future owners. This is made easy by offering the industries BEST warranty coverage and selecting only the best dealers to represent our machines!
Currently, we are working harder than ever to revamp our image within the tractor industry and provide the best parts and warranty support around. These changes are coming about in the form of team development, website updates, parts ordering system updates, and even a separate new website devoted purely to warranty management. We have also began hosting service training school multiple times throughout the year in order to give our dealers top-level training on all of our models in the field.
Keep your eyes open, you'll be seeing plenty of us for years to come.
