Tires Amount of fluid in TC24DA tires?

9.75 galllons per tire.

How full is that filling it? I put something like 22 or 23 gallons in EACH of my rear tires on my 24D and my tires are the same sized R4s.

Judging by the weight of mine once loaded with rimguard (285# each), I'd say 20ish gallons per tire sounds about right. My dealership did the work for me, so I don't have an actual amount.

Hmm.. my chart shows 21 gallons for 75% fill, and 175# of liquid weight added, per tire, not including any ballast material.. just water weight.

OK, you guys are backing my numbers up. Looks like I'm not totally crazy after all. I probably went a little more than 75% as I was going for weight and wanted to make sure I kept the wheel "submerged" all of the time.

Went back and rechecked the chart linked to above. my bad; it says 15 gal for a water fill no mention of how full that is. 12-16.5 is on page 3.

Thanks for the input guys. I plan on buying 40 gallons next week. I was quoted $3.85 a gallon. I think that was the 1 gallon price. My guess they will make me a deal on 40.
