American Express Add A PAIN!

I've been getting the same American Express ads everytime I visit TBN since yesterday. I deleted my history, cookies, and checked for ad/spyware, but nothing shows. The ads are running under Macromedia 7. I checked Macromedia's web site for information to block the ads, but the information they provide tries to justify these types of ads, and advises to basically deal with them. I wonder if whether you see the ad has something to do with which ISP is used. Mine is AOL.

Jim, you could be on to something my ISP is AOL and I have got the adds for the last few days. What a PAIN. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

No, Its not just AOL users. I have Road Runner, Spybot, Antivirus, Firewall w/ pop up blocking and still get the AMEX pop up ad. Hakim said a few posts back that its a code problem with one of the John Deere advertisers and expects the problem to be fixed shortly.

Correct. Please just be patient. No one from TBN can do anything about it right now. The fix is in process.

I never saw the ad until jsut now, and that occurred immediately after I accidently clicked on the "Septic Sludge" ad. Now I get it all the time.

We have been advised that the problem has been resolved. If you see anymore AmEx ads of this type, let us know.
