Thick, same as my preference for beef steak

I love really thick beef steaks (ribeye, delmonico, filet etc.,etc..) as well as pork chops but I like the really thin ones too (sort of like eating wings...!)...

as far as breading it helps hold the moisture and often makes for a more tender chop...and the breadcrumbs just get caramelized with the garlic...!!

Thick if straight from the smoker; thinner if fried or smothered or for sandwiches.

Pork is meant for garlic and vice versa. Garlic is a must

No coating normally, but rolled in flower if fried.

I like pork loin steaks, very lean. Pork chops are good as well, also loin, but different.

We buy the pork loins at Sam's Club and slice them into the thickness to suit ourselves to cook as pork chops. And by coincidence, at my wife's instructions, I got some out of the freezer last night to have for dinner today.:laughing:
