Am I lucky or unlucky?

I was under my 2210 changing the transmission fluid and checked the HST fan. It was missing a fan blade.How I managed to do that I don't know? I checked with my local dealer and he said that providing it doesn't vibrate leave well alone. Interestingly enough he also said that replacement should be difficult.He said it is attached to the transmission drive and the removal of that should be fairly straight forward. Removal of a pin and one bolt. Was he right?

This has been discussed before, and is a problem with the 2210/2305 family with the exposed fan.
