Well, you got me wondering about the altitude around here so I pulled out my trusty GPS. At the top of my property I'm at 1505 feet. The house is at 1470. The low point on the property -- 1430.

My place in VT is at 1700 ft and is the tractor's current. Modest even for the east.

We must have other rocky mountain members.
