These are my FIRST welds done on two inch wide tool steel.
The top is 1/8" 6013 and the bottom is some very very old (25 years- kept open in a dry cleaning plant...) 1/8" 7018....we don't wanna talk about that one on the left...(sigh)
These have just been chipped with no brushing....the slag pretty well lifts up in one piece as it cools.
