While creeping youtube for pictures of a hydraulic chute deflector mount I came across several alternative uses for a snowblower. Some were stupid and or dangerous so I won't post them. This one on the other hand worked amazingly well. Check it out.

Lets see if I hook the 75" blower to the PTO and plant the garden next to the pond, I can water it in about 35 seconds.

My neighbour use is craftman snowblower to move is wood rips up in is barn for his horses. The wood rips arrive by bulk carrier, it pours it in entrance of his barn, and he blows it in gigantic funnel mounted upstairs. After that went he needs wood rips, he just pull a trap and lets it glide in a bucket.

It probably moves wood chips better than it moves leaves in this clip.
Just be sure to shut it off before trying to clear any clogs!

I wonder if that'll work with grains like corn or wheat?

Someone should try it, I know that is works with wood chips why not with corn. A snow blower is not as different as a blower is that they to fill grains elevator.

A snowblower would make a great firefighting tool if your dock ever caught fire.

I once used a large blower and 4430 JD to move sunflower seeds in my quonset. Could only pile them so high with a grain auger and still pull the auger out. The blower did a nice job of filling her to the top of the roof. Nice video of the snowblower water pump.

I was thinking the same thing too - how potentially dangerous that could be, especially in the summer.

Chuckle!

Can just imagine loading the blower into a boat , pulling the cord to start the blower and with my luck the cord snaps and into the water I go for a non planned swim!

Better to quickly drink a case a beer and do what comes naturally!

Hey, I used my front-mounted 47" JD snowblower pretty much just as shown in the video yesterday to clear abot two inches of melt water and slush off of the top of our ice rink (it got a bit warm the other day). Worked great! Much faster than trying to push it off with a squeege or anything else.

The slush tended to plug things up, but the the water cleared evertyhing out quickly.
