I purchased an Allis Chalmers 7060 tractor to use on 120 acres of plow-able ground as well as bailling hay and other farm work on an additional 120 acres. I am very new to Farming myself and did not realize this tractor has a straight 1000 rpm PTO. I am finding it kind of hard to find hay and cutting equipment that will run on the 1000 rpm PTO without operating the tractor at a reduced rpm speed. My tach is not working right now so that would be difficult for me to manage since I am not used to running tractors to begin with. I have been looking for a PTO Speed Reducer and found Hub City but they quit making their version 2 years ago. Does anyone know of another option or a place to possibly find a used one for my tractor.
