I was spraying today. I finished about the 4th row, turned right to turn around and hit the next row, and the 3pt pto pump tether popped off as I was turning and hit a rut that jarred the tractor back and forth (obviously needed a little more slack in the tether). I pulled the lever up to disengage the PTO (the long lever on the left, not the box under the seat). Got off, checked the row I just sprayed, and the last plant I ran over had spray on it. I re-tethered the PTO pump, and the lever that engages and disengages the PTO will NOT go back down to engage now. It won't move. I have tapped on it, pulled on it, nothing. When I switch the PTO box under the seat on and off, I can see the spline move slightly (like it normally does), indicating it engages and disengages. But the lever that allows the PTO to ramp up with the RPM's will not budge, its stuck in the disengaged (up) position. If someone knows something about how to get this lever back down I would REALLY appreciate it if you helped me.
