Allis 310 shuttle drive belt?

Hello,
I just bought a Allis Chalmers 310 with a 42in mower and a never used 38in snow thrower. I also got tire chains that were still in the orginal bag. It was a pretty good deal and everything is in amazing shape for being 40+ years old. But anyways, I believe the variable speed drive belt is getting worn out and I was wondering if anybody had the part number or a site where to get one. I mowed lawn for a bit today and I love my new to me machine

The term "310 shuttle" in your title is a misnomer. What you are describing is a variable pulley system. Call Brenda at Sandy Lake Implements, Agriculture, Lawn & Garden, Landscaping, LS Tractor, Simplicity, Snapper Pro, Tanaka, Woods, Buhler, Farmking, Allis Chalmers, Parts, LS Tractor , and tell her what you need. They were long time AC then AGCO and Simplicity. She is very knowledgable and can usually cross reference AC to Simplicity parts numbers. I am pretty certain that belt would be the same as the belts used on Simplicities of that era as it is the same transmission even though the tractor itself was not made by Simplicity and has no Simplicity equivelant. Be sure to tell Brenda that you have a variable speed. For heaven sakes, don't call it a shuttle as that is a completely different system incorporating a 4 speed transmission with no reverse gear and a differential reversing unit.
