Hello, I a 3535 that I bought last winter. I use it in the winter with a snowblower to clear my driveway and all last winter it always seemed to take an eternity for the hydraulics to warm up enough that I could pick up the loader. I kept it in an insulated garage and used a block heater and still it took a minimum of 5 minutes even on days that weren't that cold. I'm in west-central WI and temps here commonly get into the negatives overnight in the wintertime.
The tractor is nearing 50 hours now and with temps in the 40s I'm already seeing it take a minute for the hydraulics to warm up again. I would like to change the factory oil fill and put in something that will flow a little sooner than this. I use the tractor all year around so it needs to be good enough for summer too, don't want to change the trans oil every season. Is there a good multi-weight oil, possibly a synthetic that would fit the bill? I don't really know what is in there from the factory. Thanks.
