Air damage to hydraulic pump?

Will air damage the hydraulic pump on a TN65?

yes it can. was it a low oil supply, or possibly an unprimed pump that caused the issue.

If you are talking about cavitation, when bubbles are formed and then collapse, then the answer is yes. They can erode parts of the pump, and destroy the effective use of the pump.

You can usually hear when a pump is cavitating.
