air bubbles in fuel line Kohler M8

can a faulty fuel pump put air bubbles in the fuel line? I have a clear fuel line and can watch the bubbles. Thee can't be coming from the fuel tank. So I am wondering if they can come from the fuel pump.

I have been told that is a sign of a fuel pump about to fail. The diaphragm is starting to leak.

wbarbour, I agree that your fuel pump is going out. I don't think you can repair it there not hard to put on.

MtHam, I don't mean to take away for this post, but I have been searching this forum for the size of the v belt for a 1983 troy bilt horse. I see that you have one, could you help me. I can't find one that will work without slipping.
