Hey!
When I got the tractor the seller handed me a couple of handles and said they came off the remote valve, he thought they were in the way.
So I was looking to put them back on the other day and cannot figure this out. Starting to make me think they are the wrong handles since they are bare metal and the rest of the tractor had a repaint.
They look like the handles on this valve, but they way they are I cannot see how they fit.
AICO remote valves - Yesterday's Tractor Co. (#522674-1)
Below are pictures, but it looks like there is a spring pin driven in on the one lever to hold it on the shaft. Weird. That is what makes me think they are not for this tractor, but perhaps another piece of machinery the farmer (seller) had and thought these were for the Ford? The shaft and handles look like they would work with the valve perfectly (width, angle) but how to get them on is the question.
Tried PB Blaster, heat, banging (lightly) but it seems that handle is "fixed" to the shaft.
Thanks in advance!
Chris
