Canopy Aftermarket cab experience on small L's?? (L-2501HST)

Looking to get an L-2501, and for some specific reasons my wife would like a cab. (Poison ivy debris/dust and yellow jackets, both of which were are dangerously allergic to)

There is not a factory option for the small L's. Seems like you jump from the (fairly expensive but luxurious) B-2650HSDC to the (even more expensive) Grand L in factory cab options.

So I see some fairly decent looking hard cabs on the aftermarket, but local dealer has no experience with them. And then a bunch of soft cabs.

I know I'd lose A/C, which is probably a lockout on the aftermarket cabs unless I could rig up something.

Anyone have any experience with aftermarket cabs on the small L's?

Is there something else I should be looking at? The Yanmar line does seem to have cabs on smaller equivs to the L's. (But they still have DPF)

When I had my B2910 I had a Sims cab installed. At first it looked pretty nice, then came warm weather and I wanted to remove the flimsy canvas and clear plastic doors. The pins that held the door on were supposed to allow you to lift the doors off. The problem was that the pins brackets were either welded on crooked or the pins were bent.

I was able to get one door off with my pnuematic air hammer, but the other would not come off. This was only a few months old, so I sent an email to the company in canada, and after 2 more follow up emails I still didn't get any response. So I got my dealer involved, and he called them, talked to a snooty woman (the phone was on speakerphone). Her response was that was not covered under warrenty and we could remove the velcroed on panels. Then she just hung up.

Just my experience, you may have a different outcome.

Laurin does some smaller cabs
Products | Laurin Inc > Product type > Tractor cabs > Product brand > Kubota

Their cabs are pretty close to OEM quality and I've been happy with mine so far. I did a blog post on adding the Laurin cab to my M59 there's lots of photos if it's something you are interested in doing yourself
