2016 Kioti 2610HST
Hey I am looking at getting a 6ft box blade for my Kioti 2610HST tractor. I have been looking at a ton but just so many brands I am from Canada I found so far is this brand looks to be a little more HD then others. Here is a link to it. What you guys/gals think really want to pull trigger on it.
BRABER 6FT BOX BLADE

Box Blades cut proportional to weight per unit of width.

1) Braber = 496 pounds / 6' = 82.3 pounds per foot of width. Slightly heavier than most 6' Box Blades.

2) Max a 2,700 pound bare weight tractor can draw when loaded with dirt.

3) Good weight for TPH counterbalance to 90% of Front End Loader lifts.

4) Consider 5' width as well.

BRABER 6FT BOX BLADE

I fear at 2700 lbs and 24.5HP, you do not have enough tractor to pull a 6’ BB loaded with material. My tractor is a comparable HP and weight and I have had issues pulling my 5’ BB when heavy filled load is pulled. Most of the time it is fine, but I would not want any larger behind my tractor.
I know nothing of the brand in question. But in general the more solid built the BB, the happier you will be long term.

They do have a 5ft one also it is 411lbs and built the same as the 6ft.

Either will do but the 5'/411 pound box blade will be a more reasonable load behind your 2,700 pound tractor.

Are your rear tires loaded with liquid or inflated with air?

Time to insert your new tractor brand and model into your T-B-N PROFILE.

Braber 5' or 6' Box Blade will do but the 5'/411 pound box blade will be a more reasonable load behind your 2,700 pound tractor.

Ok I will check tomorrow not sure if they have the 5ft in stock but the 6ft I know they have in stock now. Just sucks if they done have the 5ft in stock will cost me more to get it brought in.

Extra weight will increase your traction and somewhat your stability. For traction that extra 1000 lbs is right where you want it, for stability you give a bit of trade off as about 30% (assuming about 80% capacity of your tires are filled) is above your axle. However your 24.5hp is limited in what it can pull. I doubt you have lost that full 1000 lbs of working load as you have increased traction but it will have some effect.
But the biggie to watch for, is that depending on what implement you may have attached and if a loader is present, you have a tractor that on 4 pressure points could be putting a lot of weight on soft or wet spots.
