Advice: Ford 1310

HI!! to everyone. Put this post on the Ford/ NH owning and operating post and am not getting any replies, so I thought I would try here.

I am a newbie owner of a 1984 Ford 1310, 4WD with FEL that I just purchased off of E-Bay. I am looking for any info I can get on maintenance and getting parts for the machine. I have ordered the I & T shop service manual, but have been unable to locate anywhere to get a manual for the Ford 770B loader. Does anyone know where I might obtain one? The tractor smokes (black) pretty good, seems low on power and the loader seems real slow. The hour meter show 904 hours, but who knows if it has rolled or not. Over all sheet metal, etc. is about what I would expect for 22 years old. Does anyone know if NH supports the older Ford machines in any way. I am looking for any and all the info I can get.
I would also be interested in any ideas on purchasing / building a ROPS for the machine.

So NH doesn't have a manual? Did you check a dealer, did you check their web site? They would be the place to get parts & such. When I read your other message, I was assuming you would check there. They are your dealer.

There are many manual jockeys selling all kinds of manuals, if NH doesn't have one, you should be able to run across one.

Shiberua (sp - the company that makes the drive train) is pretty much the sole supplier, and you mostly need to go through NH for parts, other than filters & such that you can find.

Thanks Paul. I just received an manual by I&T in the mail today. Looks as if it has plenty of info to get me started. I have e-mail NH through their web site, but no response so far. I think I have located a NH dealer in NY state about 50 miles from my home, but I have not had a chance to try to phone them yet.
