Tractor
NX4510H with backhoe and FEL
My short list of tractors to buy includes the Kioti 3510 or a Kubota. The tractor will be purchased with a FEL and backhoe. It will not be used for mowing. Main uses will be moving wood, grading our gravel road (500 feet) and digging out stumps.
Are the features on the L3560 worthwhile?

PS:I know nothing about tractors and never owned one before.

It's not just the "features" you need to consider.Dealer support, dependability, ergonomics and reputation. And yes; the extras of the Grand "L's" are worth the extra cost.
If thinking cab;you may want to consider the L4060.

Grand L's are the "premium" models and the regular L's are the "standard" models in the Kubota line. Heavier and with more capability, also dressed out with better features. For example, you can only get the unique HST+ transmission (probably the best hydrostatic setup made), in the Grand models. Compare the spec sheets and go look at the different models at a dealership. Differences will be immediately obvious. Of course the "premium" part shows up in the pricetag as well.

I own a Grand L6060 and two B series tractors. Before buying any of these, I shopped the L series.

I agree with the earlier posters. To me, the added features of either the B or Grand L series are worth the extra cost.

Don't misunderstand. There is nothing wrong with the L series but it is a reduced cost line to compete with basic models offered by other manufacturers. Case in point: I like armrests. Armrests are standard on both B and Grand L models but not available, even as options on L models.

VIDEO: Kubota Standard L Series VS. Grand L Series - YouTube

I owned two "standard" tractors, a Deere 750 and a Kubota B3300SU, prior to buying my Kubota Grand L 3560.
The L3560 is tractor nirvana. The HST/PLUS transmission is its best single feature, followed by heavy weight for its compact size. Relatively easy implement mounting and knowing that every Category/I implement will fit, is third.

Many here would hire in or rent a mini-excavator for stump removal, in preference to purchasing a $7,500 tractor Backhoe for same. Some, however, positively search for seat time justification.

I have a Tree Service with a heavy Bobcat and a mini-excavator removing unwanted trees, mostly Water Oaks, from an expansion lot I purchased next to my home.

You owe it to yourself to at least look at the Kubota L47 next time you are at a dealer. It is considered to be one of Kubota's TLB (tractor/loader/backhoe) machines. It might fit your needs, and has more features for loader and backhoe chores than most tractors.

A TBL is an industrial machine. It's designed to be abused more than a CUT. They generally are heavier per HP & have better loader capacity. The Kubota TBLs dont have a quick remove loader & dont have the option for a cab. They tend to cost a bit more, but definitely worth looking at if you have a lit of hoe work to do.

Since you are unfamiliar with tractors, I just want to point out one major thing.

A compact utility tractor (CUT) is designed to do many typical farm tasks. They are not designed for heavy digging and earth moving. Yes you can get a backhoe attachment, however it is not the same as a TLB.

A Tractor Loader Backhoe (TLB) is much heavier duty then a CUT and is more suited to digging and ground work.

Neither is comparable to an excavator though.

Others have provided good info on all these machines so I'll leave it at that.
