I need to widen the front/rear tires on a Ford 3930 a little for proper spacing with a cultivator. I pretty much know what I have to do with the rear, but I'm not 100% on the front. Its a 2wd tractor, and it has these two bolts through the front housing. It also has what appears to be some sort of set screw holding in the drag link/tie rod (not sure what its called). Is it as simple as jacking up the front, removing the two bolts, loosening the set screw, and sliding the inner portion out to the next set of holes?

Another site linked me to a manual, which pretty much shows the steps...what are the odds I can do this without having to adjust the toe-in?

The design of the unit is such that toe in will not really be affected. The tie rod and steering cylinder extensions have notches that correspond with the axle bolt spaces. once you get them moving (that's going to be the fun part) you will see what I mean. Axle assemblies move one bolt hole, rod extensions move one notch,, etc.
