Kubota M4700
Hello all,

First post, Im sorry if my question is answered somewhere else on this site. I cannot find it. I知 looking for some help with adding a rear remote to my 1997 M4700SU. I have searched to threads here and looked every where I could to try and get an answer. Or at least the answer I want. I don't know that much about the hydraulics, but I dont feel like should be that hard. On my tractor, all I have is 2 lines coming from the pump/housing and going to the loader valve assembly. A sending Line and return line. Is it possible to put a T in the lines and run them to a spool valve for a rear remote. Or, is there another way that I am not aware of. Or, is a spool valve even what I need to achieve this. The local dealer is telling me it will cost around $1200 to have them do it. I feel like it is simple, but again, I don稚 know THAT much about it. Thank you for the help.

Welcome to TBN!

Your system is open center. Do you have six or seven hoses coming off of the loader valve. If seven, one will be for power beyond and should route back to power the 3pt hitch. The valve you source for your remotes would need to be open center and have power beyond sleeve installed.

Your new valve would get power from the power beyond port on your loader. The power beyond on your new valve will power your 3pt hitch. The Tank line from your new valve will tee into the tank line from your loader.

It is rather simple but some struggle with locating the correct ports. Hope this helps.

I have seven hoses coming off the loader valve. 6 come off the inside portion and one comes off the front. I致e attached a picture

My M4700 has 1800 hrs. Still running strong!

So, that’s a horrible picture...and it’s sideways for some reason. I’ll try to get a better one in the morning. Thanks for the reply.

Welcome to TBN
One can't successfully Tee into the open-center hyd system on a tractor similar to your M4700. Teeing into OC hyd system allows oil to take the path of least resistance rendering some of the hyd control valves inoperable. Added hyd valves must be attached to open center hyd system in series not parallel.

Sorry for the delay and thank you all for the reply’s. Here is a better picture of my loader valve. I’m assuming the power beyond is the one coming off the front of the valve?670B2383-0164-403B-B2C2-A1C2EFC986BC.jpeg
