Adding power steering?

Hi all,
I have a 1965 IH 424 with manual steering. I was considering adding a torque generator to the steering shaft set up
to aid in easier steering. Can anyone give me some info on this? will it work? what would I need besides the torque generator
to make it work properly? Thanks in advance.

I don't know about a torque generator but the thread in my signature shows how I did it for my Kubota. I think there's also links to other p/s threads in there.
