Hello all,

I've recently acquired a Woods RB 96.60 with hydraulic angle and offset, manual tilt. I would like to have all three hydraulic functions, but my tractor (NH T4.75) only has two remotes on the rear. I've checked prices before on adding another rear remote and it was ridiculous.

I'm curious if anyone on the forum has added a diverter valve to the blade implement itself, then ran the electric cable up to the tractor with a switch or button to change the cylinders (electric over hydraulic). If so, I would love to hear about and see pics of your setup.

Also, If anyone has the same model blade with hydraulic tilt already, can you please tell me the size of the cylinder they used from the factory on the tilt?

Thank you!

I installed a divter valve on my front end loader and ran the hose back to the rear. Allows front or rear use. One could also do the same with one of the existing rear hydraulics.

Do not see a issue with a electric diverter on the blade. I would use a plug in the wire, perhaps near the existing connections to allow easy hook up and not having to have a wire dangling and needing re ran each time. Only down side is that it stays with that attachment.

Interesting that it looks like a quick connect connection on the blades main beam. Wonder why they did not just run longer hoses to start with. Seems to be a extra expense ?

That's a good point on the hose connection on the blade's beam. I didnt even think about it before. I wonder if Woods does that on all blades, and why.

I guess I should revisit the idea of a diverter mounted on my tractor near the rear remotes. I had considered it before when I wanted hydraulics on my FEL, but I ended up just running hoses from back to front. These stay hooked up most of the time since I use the grapple and hydraulic auger more than any rear implement requiring 2 remotes. I guess this blade will be changing that, though. There isn't a perfect place to mount one either back there.

I added a diverter to my LP blade. I diverted the angle and tilt. Still use mechanical side shift. I use a toggle switch on a fender bracket to choose functions. If my rear remote lever would accept it I would have changed out the handle and added one with a push button. Would be much more convenient.

Here's a link to the diverter I used.

Forgot to mention. Google a parts book for your blade if you don't have one. It will tell you the cylinder size you need.

You guys know more about your blades than I do but that's a cushion valve on top of the OP's blade. It's there to take the brunt of a sudden impact and save the cylinders from damage.

Opinions differ of course, my diverter is on the tractor. Hoses run to the front for hyd blade, need a couple on the rear for the ditch mower.

Not sure I understand. You have a front mount hyd blade? If so, makes sense to mount the diverter on the tractor.

In the OP's case and my case it does not. I run my two cylinder rear blade with one pair of hoses. The OP will run his three cylinder blade with two pair of hoses.

Skid steer hyd angle blade.

Skid steer hyd angle blade.

In that case I'd mount my diverter on the front crossmember of the FEL, add a button to the joystick lever and run the blade angle. Then if I wanted to use other hydraulic front attachments I'd be all set.
