1963 ford 2000 4 cyl Gas
Hello Everyone I would like to add an aux Hyd connection to my 1963 ford 2000, I have been told by others that its not a big deal
but I have been unable to find any information on how to do it. I'm thinking its a kit that can be purchased and added by way of a Hatch or
cover some where under or just behind the seat. I need some advice, I'm really limited to the attachments I can use because of the lack of
a wet hook up.

Thanks

Actually, if you have a PTO, you can install a very good FEL system, depending on your PTO HP.

not sure if that would work in my case, my PTO on this tractor is direct drive, in other words, engine rpm = pto rpm = ground speed. Everything turns together.
The PTO can be turned alone at high rpm as long as the tractor is out of gear.

Alrighty then, I have a fan belt driven pump on my Power-Trac pumping about 3 GPM for the loader and it works quite well.

It will develop about 3000 psi.

There are ways to do almost anything.

The Fords tractors are easy to add hydraulics to, you just have to buy the right parts and your good to go. If you 2000 does not have power steering then you can add the pump, if you have power steering then you can change out the small pump for the bigger one. http://www.brokentractor.com/images/c7nn600y.JPG these guys will have all the parts you need Jim
