Adding a second rear remote to dk45se

Perused through the old posts and didn't see an answer to my question.

I am contemplating getting/putting on myself a second set of rear remotes. I use the lever in the cab down by my right leg to control the current rear remote today. If I put on another one where is it controlled from? is that part of the installation to add a controller for it?

I'm not a Kioti guy so I don't know what your set up looks like. But you could use a multiplier to use your existing valve. You'd have a selector switch, and the switch setting would determine which connection your lever controlled.

Thanks for the idea. I may head to my dealer and see how they come from the factory. Most of the ones my size only have the one, but I should be able to "see" how it works.

Mine has another lever right beside the 1st one for the second remote. On an open station I don't think it was a big job to add, as my dealer did it as part of the deal. One is self centering (I use it for the 3pt toplink) and the other has the detents which I've never used, but its for a 3pt splitter or back hoe. Someday I'll add a hyd side link and I'll have to figure out how switch the second lever to self centering.

The kit I bought came with the lever, on my DK4210, there was an empty slot next to the first rear remote. Lever went there, you add the hydraulic body, connect the lever to the body and run the lines out the back.

I added a couple of pictures here, unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the lever part.

Rear remote install DIY : anybody done it w/o removing the rear wheel ? NS6010
