GR2120
Hi everyone new to this forum. Had a question see if you guys could help me figure out. I have a Kubota GR2120 Garden Tractor, was wandering if there is anyway I could add a 3-point. I would like to be able to get a rear blade, landscaping rake for it. If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to post. Thank you.

I'd just go get a BX! A lot heavier rear end built to take it.

Welcome to TBN!
I'm sure somebody has figured out a way to do this, either with a winch or a linear actuator using the electric system for the lift. Should involve some custom work - I suspect you should get lots of advice. We have a very talented and creative crew here.

If it's been done or could be done, TBN member Locknut would know about it. He's done a ton of mod's on his GR. He's added a loader and cab to his GR. Look him up, or maybe he'll pop in here.

I would look at accessories for ATV's, and then rig up a way to attach that to your Kubota garden tractor. As someone mentioned, I'd be concerned about the extra loading of the transaxle and engine. Might be worth trading for a BX.

Should look at a BX I do not think that transmission is up to ground engaging attachments. The previous models of this line have had alot of issues.

I have a G2160 which filled this spot in the lineup and it had a PTO and 3 point kit available and it was no where near as strong as the BX2230 I have.

I was considering doing something similar to a CC GT2554 but decided upon getting a BX1500 instead .
Best thing I ever done except I should have skipped over th CC GT2554 and bought the BX in the first place
After getting the BX I sold the Cub Cadet Gt2554.

You know what Brendon, I just brought a 2012 GR2120 and I was thinking the same thing. I really cant understand why Kubota calls this thing a garden tractor if you cant add implements. I own just about an acre and I felt that a bx model would be a bit much. Kinda look stupid riding around my sub division on a SUB COMPACT tractor. And to all those saying........."I would just get a BX".........theres a good bit of difference in the price of a BX and a GR. Lets be practical here. I dunno, kinda my fault for not doing my homework, but there should be something in between the BX and the GR to handle folks like me and Brendon. If you can hang a snow blower off of the front of this thing..........you should be able to get more use out of it in the garden or lawn area. In my humble opinion....If Simplicity and others can do it.......the big and bad Kubota brand should be able to also.........imho!

How about some pictures of what you are working with? Rear end, undercarriage etc

Would help myself and others help you!

Have had many "garden" tractors in the past such as wheel horse, Bolens HT20 and gravely

The most stout by far was the Bolens HT20 and besides not being 4x4 was a heavy beast

brendonvodden you can hook a rod to you mower deck lift arm. Run it above your axle if you can, then cut a slot in the rear plate so you can hook to a 3pt. I would get another plate and hook up a cat 0 upper arms and lower links to the plate. Then bolt it all on to your rear plate, then hook up the arm. If you want the lower links to float some, just slot the lift links.
