Add quick attach to my 16LA loader??

I have a 3yr old 16LA, can I add a quick attach plate to my unit? Can I use my present bucket? Does "Quick Attach" really work without a lot of jacking and pushing? About how much should it cost me? Can I install myself or does it need welding? I will appreciate any advice. I find that trying to re-hitch my present bucket is a real pain. I can never seem to realign the pins without an hours work. Thanx Farmacist

The universal quick attach doesn't need any jacking or pushing. Just drive up to the attachment tilt the loader forward, put the upper lip of the quick attach under the lip of the implement cross bar and lift the implement off the ground. Get off the tractor lower the quick attach pins and go to work. Total time less than 2 minutes. Effort minimal.

I have seen after market quick attaches in fact someone on ebay is selling one for a JD loader right now but I would just go down to your local dealer and ask them first. You will get a chance to see what a quick attach looks like and use it. I'm sure some of the other TBN'ers will give you a link to aftermarket quick attaches.

The quick attach female plates could be welded onto some buckets that have a fairly flat back. Other buckets are rounded and may not work. I'm sure your bucket if it can be used will need some cutting and welding to put that adaptor on. The bobcat and deere dealers sell them for about $125+. I usually weld up my own. It not hard.
