Hello, I am new to the forum and looking for some advise on an old Perkins. I recently picked up a 1965 MF 203 which I am almost positive has the Perkins ad3-152 3 cylinder engine.
When cleaning gunk off the engine I noticed the ad4-203 name place on the intake manifold. It's definitely a 3 cylinder as there is only 3 injectors and I had the valve cover off and there are only 6 rocker arms.
Has anyone ever seen this? Is this maybe a mixup at the factory when the engine was being built? Or maybe someone tried restoring it in the past and could only find the ad4-203 name plate? The only numbers I can find on the block so far is on the left hand side 2324820 C
Just trying to get some clarification before ordering some parts.
See the attached pics, yes I know its very dirty!!
