Accidentally bought a Ford 3000, need info

I put a deposit on a Deere 2155 Monday that I saw on craigslist to replace my faltering massey 135 gasser. Yesterday I see a ford 3000 with 6ft bushog brand bushog(huge gear box, nice bushog) for $3500. I planned on just the bushog but guy would not separate and I figured the 3000 was worth $2500. The 3000 sounds great but has some issues. What is the best source for info? This is my first diesel and I have a large number of questions from silly simple to complex. I am planning on getting manuals but found youtube to help more than they did with my 135. Questions-1.No gauges are working, where do I look first? 2.Rear end a common sump(search showed 2 diff answers,if common 134d utf and how much?

www.jdparts.com = look up parts and see part diagrams.

i highly advise getting the shop/service manual. much better diagrams, and complete break down of parts, along with how to tear stuff apart and put it back together, along with checking/testing along the way. shop/service manuals cost, but they should be well worth the info they have in them.
