John Deere 3320
I finally got the chance to "wake" the John Deere 3320 up out of hibernation today. All my other neighbors except an old farmer next door have Kubota's and before today, have not had the privilege to witness my new friend. They saw her today and well, she is a head turner. I plan to bush hog my friend 10-acre field in the next month or so, but my job keeps me on the road a lot. So I will probably not get that much time with her in the next couple of months. I have attached a few before and after pictures of the yard. I will say for all who cares it took me an hour and twenty minutes to mow just over 2.5 acres with the 72-inch 7-Iron II deck. I did notice that the cut quality was nowhere near as good with the standard blades as it is with the gator blades. My dealers owes me a free set of gator blades as part of the deal, I will be calling him in the next couple of weeks to collect. This same yard takes 2 hours with the 62C mmm on the John Deere 2210 and it takes an hour and a half with my old John Deere 757 Zero Turn Mower.

Congratulations!!

Put that ROPS up and wear your seat belt!! It will save your life!

Two weekends back I was plowing snow, misjudged the location of a culvert that we don't use much, and dropped one of the rear wheels off the culvert pipe into the the roadside ditch next to it. I was soooo lucky that the tractor didn't roll over. I had the ROPS up but was not buckled in. Dumb Dumb DUMB!

My wife was able to pull me out (straight backwards from the drawbar) with no problem. Sigh.

I took this picture the day I got my JD 3320!!

Yeah, I got slopes on my property and one or two of them are pretty steep. I plan to get rid of one and the other is just a "go straight up and down" operation. With this Cab Tractor I really plan to use my seat belts all the time.
