A New Yanmar YM1700 Owner

I just purchased a YM 1700 and looking forward to using it. I knew nothing about Yanmar other than I have a Yanmar engine in my John Deere. It has been an education for me reading some of the items on the discussion board.
People seem to be very helpful and you have answered a lot of questions for me just reading the postings. I am sure I will have questions and I hope everyone is patient with me as I learn about the tractor and this discussion board. I am looking forward to being a part of the Yanmar Family

Welcome to the site. Glad to see another yanmar owner, they really are the best compact for the money on the market. I know of several around me here in Erie, PA. Kind of nice to see amoung the sea of orange and blue. We have lots of grape vineyards here and thus there are no less than 4 bota dealers in Erie county, plus JD and NH. Yet among them are a small fleet of yanmars I have seen, most of them being older models. Cheers Mike and Michele T

Like you I am a some-what new owner of a Yanmar 1610D. I love mine and the help from TBN members who post here is very valuable. Parts supportis great and dealers here have helped a bunch. Think mine is better than a "Orange" or "Blue" anyday.
