I just invented a new coofee cup for people like me or just me. Every time I'm at/in my office/sofa doing my S&S morning networking mostly on TBN, my coffee gets cold and empty before I realize it, then after I post a post, take a sip of the half full cup I thought I had left or worse lukewarm coffee, YUCK. To solve this problem I invented a new cup, first an anti tip 8oz cup, insulated to keep it hot, red flashing light to let me know the coffee is lukewarm, and lastly a green light to let me know the cup is empty. That should solve most of my S&S morning networking issues, darn my coffee is cold again, YUCK.

Now the hard part, find some Chinaman to make it for only $19.95 as seen on TV, and if you buy two now, just pay a totally separate S&H charge that we'll tell you what that is after we get you're CC number.........

I used to see ads for a cup that had a design that faded when it was hot. This could be used as a temperature indicator.

So many comical post even from down under. The phone thing is good if I can ever remember to turn my phone on or is there an app for that, but then again I'm still flip phoning, hate to give up the blinking coffee cup idea tho, those light emitting diodes are just awesome. The wife thing would've worked great 40 years ago, now not so good.

I was thinking of a design like this one, has great anti-tip geometry to it, but the add doesn't say how big it is, dont want to go over 12oz, might throw my coffee making mixture oof. Guess the thing to do is go up to the Mall, check it out, then go back home and order it online.

Do a KickStart campaign, get folks to send money before you make anything. Fill their heads with empty promises. Wifi, bluetooth enabled coffee mug to sit on the shelf waiting for the next software update... perhaps you could get the recalled batteries from Samsung and use them to heat the coffee?
