A Great Day to be Plowing

It was one of those days when everything seemed to go right, the ground was turning over nice, it had dried out well and it was a sunny day. I had tried to plow in this same field yesterday and the pig manure had made it as slick as greased lightning, I just couldn't get any traction.

I was hoping to be plowing here by monday but it rained here friday so it could be later yet. I have some pasture to plow up and plant to corn. Looks like you are a lot drier there then we are here.

Don't have a combine Mark, we have folks around who do custom work like this and I will sell the beans right out of the field.Deere 755---We had a wet spring also but things have dried up real quick the past week. Hope you are able to get in your fields soon.Yes Egon, it will get bouncy. I'm hoping that I can pull the 18 ft disc without duals on the rear, if not I will raise the wings and make the first pass over using only 12 ft of the disc.The field that I was working in is full of groundhog holes, big roots growing out from the woods and lots of multiflura rose. This was the first time plowed in 25 yrs.
