After hearing good things about Messick's on this site, I have ordered Ford,New Holland parts from them on 2 separate occasions. Both were small orders, $80 or so. Both times the parts guy was knowledgeable and curteous, parts were in stock (for a 28 year old tractor), order was shipped the same day, arrived quicker than I expected, AND were the correct parts. Much better than the New Holland dealer in Tyler who stocks nothing and doesn't know squat. Thanks Messick's......

Yep, Messicks has been my one stop shop for parts. Their customer service is excellent.

Is this an advertisement ??? I might praise my local dealer on this website as well, but i dont think the rest of the WORLD would really care... :p :p

i go to my local dealers and usually they act smug......

i call messick's'; they're friendly, very helpful, fast, knowledgeable, and they attach parts break downs if needed.....

i like em'!

I've bought a half dozen times from them. Price is in line with the local guys. But Messicks supports my "addiction" here, and they are able to get the parts to me in about the same time as the local guys. (the locals don't stock anything I order and they charge me for shipping, plus I have to drive 35 miles each way. PLUS they will call for a pick up, then when I get there they have found it to be incomplete. Wasting 70 miles and 2 hours)

No advertisement. Messick's is a very good dealer who happens to support this website. They have excellent parts support, sales and service. I have been to both of their locations and find them just as if not more pleasant in person. It never hurts to say good things about a company when they deserve it and Messick's is one that deserves it. Besides it's refreshing to see a post complementing a dealer on a job well done when most of the dealer related post you see on here are complaints.

Renze, Messick's is NOT my local dealer. PA is more than just a few miles from Tyler, TX. What I'm saying is that I get much better support from a dealer 800 or 1000 miles away than the one 20 miles away.

Always has gotten me the critical parts I need right away, way before the local dealer has. Good prices and friendly people offering free advice when I've needed it. They never hesitate to help us out here at TBN too!

I was fortunate enough to meet the guys at Messick's when I bought my BX. Good group of guys. I've stopped by a couple of times for my service parts and have always been treated nice. My one complaint is that the parts department is a long walk from the sale area, which means after I get my parts I have to drive all the way around back to drool over their new inventory. Hey Neil, could you do something about that.LOL

not an advertisement, just common knowledge that when your "local' or your favorite cant produce call messicks they "will"

Yea, we'd love to. I make the long walk from sales to parts several times a day. Its great in the spring when its nice out, and the pits in the middle of winter.

Thanks for the good word guys. I forwarded a link to this thread to everyone here who supports our online customers. Its good to know we're doing somthing right.

We wouldn't want them to get too big headed, over in the online customer support group, so maybe I ought to say something bad about them...

Still thinking....

They are too far away.... best I could do without wearing out my brain.

A good word was posted here about Messicks and I like to bookmark these places if they can be of help to me.

Does Messicks have parts for the older ford tractors? Mine is a 1973 4000.

I'm impressed with Messicks and I haven't even done business with them yet. Their website alone has been very useful for me for reference. And I think they should definately get kudos on this site if they deserve it -esp. since they are available from anywhere.

I am very happy with my local dealer (small shop) and want to give them my business. When I did my 100hr service I gen'd the parts list from messicks site and went to my dealer to purchase. Their prices were competitive, so I can't complain there.

But if the relationship ever sours, or I have trouble getting stuff in a timely fashion, I know where I am going. I occasionally travel to Mechanicsburg for work, and plan to stop in next time I'm up that way - plus looking for acreage in their area - so them being local would be a plus

I would brag about my dealer here (actually I have), but as renze mentioned, wouldn't be much use to folks here other than the ones close by

I delt with Jeff Lowe one some parts and was great to deal with.

I just bought a "needs some love" Ferris IS3000 and can't find my model/serial anywhere on it. Even though Jeff can't get exact parts without these #'s, he tried and corresponded VERY quickly trying to help me figure it out.

Now, if I can just find that model and serial, I'll order my parts from them.......and I'm pretty good pals with our local Ferris dealer!

I don't have a Case dealer within 90 miles of me so I've ordered a couple of remotes and some smaller parts from Messicks. Always great to deal with. The one thing I have trouble with is finding something not specific to a certain model tractor on their site, like a tooth or light bracket. I usually do a Google search and find it linked to Messicks that way.

Another happy customer here! Quickest way to get my cub parts. Ordered a tranny filter just before the weekend and figured I would get it on a monday... was surprised to find that it was delivered on saturday. Anything in the past that I have ever ordered that required shipping has never been delivered on a weekend.

Sure, the Ford 4100 I ordered parts for was made in 1981....
